Capabilities
What Apefo Ltd builds, runs and maintains
Four capabilities sit inside Apefo Ltd: hosting and cloud infrastructure, SEO software and data analysis, web development and technical services, and digital publishing. Each one is held at group level and applied through the brand that serves its market.
How the group is organised
Capabilities are held once, not rebuilt in every brand
Apefo Ltd keeps its capabilities at group level rather than duplicating the same functions inside each brand. The engineering, infrastructure and operational practice behind hosting, search software, web delivery and publishing is developed once and applied wherever a brand needs it.
In practice that means one set of standards for how servers are provisioned and monitored, how code is deployed and maintained, and how data is collected and checked. Each brand takes what its market requires and stays responsible for its own products and customers. Apefo carries the underlying capability and the technical direction behind it.
Hosting and cloud infrastructure
Provisioning, configuring and operating servers, managed hosting environments and cloud resources for live workloads. Taken to market by YNVAR.
SEO software and data analysis
Building software that collects search and site data, analyses technical health, and tracks the resulting work through to completion. Developed as a product by Seoryx.
Web development and technical services
Building and maintaining websites and web applications, with the configuration, migration and support work around them. Delivered by JNET Solutions.
Digital publishing
Producing and operating editorial and affiliate media in regulated markets, with the platform and compliance work that requires. Operated as CasiBits.
Capability 01 — YNVAR
Hosting and cloud infrastructure
Provisioning servers and cloud resources, configuring the environments that websites, online stores, applications and business platforms run in, and operating them once they are live. This capability reaches customers through YNVAR, which provides hosting, cloud infrastructure and managed environments.
The work covers the whole life of an environment: sizing and building it, moving an existing site or application onto it, keeping the operating system, web server, database and runtime versions current, watching it under load, and restoring it when something fails.
Provisioning and configuration
Sizing and building server and cloud environments, installing web server, database and runtime components, configuring DNS, TLS certificates and mail delivery, and setting the access controls around them.
Monitoring and maintenance
Watching availability, resource use and error rates, applying operating system and software updates, tuning caching and database performance, and investigating faults when they appear.
Backups and recovery
Taking scheduled backups, checking that they restore, and running the migrations, rebuilds and recovery needed when a platform has to be moved or brought back after a failure.
Capability 02 — Seoryx
SEO software and data analysis
Building the software that collects search data, examines how a site is put together, and turns both into work that can be tracked. This capability is developed as a product under Seoryx, an SEO analytics and workflow platform designed to connect search data, technical analysis, content opportunities and execution tracking.
The engineering behind it is as much data engineering as it is search: crawling and parsing pages at volume, storing and reconciling ranking and traffic figures over time, and presenting the result so that a decision follows from it rather than another report.
Data collection and processing
Crawling sites, retrieving search and ranking data, normalising it into a consistent structure, and keeping historical records so that change over time can be measured rather than estimated.
Technical analysis
Auditing site architecture, indexation, internal linking, page performance and structured markup, and separating the faults that affect search visibility from the ones that do not.
Opportunity and execution tracking
Identifying content and keyword opportunities in the data, turning them into defined tasks with an owner, and following those tasks through to completion and measured effect.
Capability 03 — JNET Solutions
Web development and technical services
Designing and building websites and web applications, keeping existing platforms working, and carrying out the technical work around them. This capability is delivered by JNET Solutions, which provides website development, application support, infrastructure configuration and related technical services.
Not all of it is new build. A substantial part of the work is taking a platform that already exists and making it maintainable: correcting the structure, updating dependencies, fixing what breaks under real traffic, and documenting it well enough that it can be handed back and kept running.
Development
Building websites and web applications from specification through to launch, including templates, content structures, forms, internal tooling and the third-party services each project has to talk to.
Support and maintenance
Keeping live platforms current with dependency and framework updates, security patching, bug fixes and content or template changes, and responding when something on a production site stops working.
Configuration and migration
Setting up the infrastructure a site depends on, moving platforms between hosts or environments without losing data or search visibility, and connecting external systems through their APIs.
Capability 04 — CasiBits
Digital publishing
Operating editorial and affiliate media as a product: producing and maintaining content, running it on a platform the group controls, and working within the advertising rules of the markets it covers. This capability is expressed through CasiBits, a specialised digital publishing and affiliate media project covering regulated online gaming markets.
Publishing in a regulated market is a compliance and technical discipline as well as an editorial one. Content has to be accurate and kept current as the market changes, commercial arrangements have to be disclosed, and the platform underneath has to be fast, indexable and stable.
Editorial production
Researching, writing and reviewing content, keeping published pages accurate as operators and offers change, and correcting or retiring material that no longer holds.
Regulatory compliance
Working within the advertising and marketing rules that apply to regulated online gaming, including disclosure of commercial relationships and the restrictions on how offers may be presented.
Platform and distribution
Running the publishing platform itself, covering templates, performance, indexation and tracking, and applying the group’s own infrastructure and search practice to it.
Group structure
Why the four sit in one company
The four capabilities overlap by design. Hosting decisions affect how a site performs and how quickly it can be changed. Search analysis is only worth doing if the technical work it implies can actually be carried out. Publishing exercises all three at once. Holding them in a single company means the standards behind them are set once and the same people answer for them.
Apefo Ltd holds the commercial relationships and decides where engineering and operational effort goes. The technical direction of all four brands sits with the founder and director, Adrians Petrovs.
